This is a beautiful area that sits by itself bordering the spectacular Mokelumne Wilderness just south of Lake Tahoe. It is open year round as the area offers wintertime and summertime fun alike. The "Lodge" is a bit of a misnomer. Although there are a few rooms available here, it is more or less the headquarters for the surrounding village which contains much more lodging and eating facilities.

This "lodge" offers everything from fine dining to casual coffee shops and walk up vendors outside the lodge. You should be able to take shelter and enjoy some coffee or hot beverages, soups, sandwiches, burgers, beer, soft drinks and anything else that you'd find at your typical ski resort.
