In my neighborhood and part of the contributing buildings in our National Historic District. I have also included our own house, which the National Register describes as "unique." What a hoot.

As for the contributing home, the following is what the register reports in their building inventory:
Queen Anne influence is evident in this 3-bay front-gabled house with side entry and rear cross-wings. Walls are running-bond brick laid with knife-edge joints. The architectural integrity of the house is excellent. (Although I may add that since this inventory was written, the shutters and paint have suffered.)

Our house was awarded the Monroe County Historical Association's 2007 Preserve, Enhance, Promote Historic Resources Award for Private Residential Property. We are quite proud of that.
