This beautiful veterans monument is located in Georgetown Cemetery, and serves as a backdrop for several veterans' graves. Each branch of the military is represented on the monument, as well as the POW/MIA insignia. The monument reads, "Dedicated to all Scott Co. veterans, for those who perished, those who served, and those now serving." In front of the monument is a polished black granite bench engraved with "Pray for Peace."
