In addition to listing the contributing local Rotary Clubs, the dedication plaque reads:

The Rotary Centennial Clock is a gift to the citizens of Savannah from the members of the Rotary Clubs of Savannah to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the founding of Rotary International in Chicago on February 23, 1905.
Dedicated December, 2005.

A second plaque reads:
