Wright Woods offers scenic trails and playground areas for families and smaller groups.
Since most of the areas along the trails are wetlands, you may find different plants and animals you would typically see.
The preserve is open from 6:30 a.m. to sunset.

If there is a trail system, please describe length, terrain, etc.: The outer loop of the trail is almost 3 miles long, plus there are many inner connections within the loop. There is also a bridge connecting to Half Day Woods which, in turn, connects to the Des Plaines River Trail.
