This fountain was created by
Alice Wingwall in the early 1990's. Cascade Charley is located in The University of Oregon Science Complex near Cascade Hall.
From the U of O web site:
Artist Alice Wingwall suffers from retinitis pigmentosa, a degenerative eye disease, and relies on memory and other senses in creating her art. Photography is currently one of her principal media and she often works with the assistance of her husband, architect Donlyn Lyndon.
The fountain is "conjoined" with another work by Scott Wyle entitled Science Walk. The integration of Cascade Charley and Science Walk can be seen in an interactive page in the University of Oregon Geology Tour.
