The Presbyterian Church was built 1832 - 1833. The building was used for regular services until 1878 when a new church building was built. The old church was renovated in 1982 and is now used for the Mine Au Breton Historical Society Museum with tours by appointment. In the adjacent cemetery is the grave of Moses Austin, the "Grandfather of Texas"
