This two-story building was designed by architect Jens Frederick Larson. It replaced the 130 year-old Meeting House and Town Hall which had been destroyed by fire.

This City Hall was constructed in 1923 to replace Lebanon's Meeting House/Town Hall after that building was destroyed by fire.It remains in use today as a city hall with the building shared by the Lebanon Opera House. It is one of nineteen contributing buildings in this historic district.
