This was the 14th stop out of Baltimore on the Old Main Line of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, 21.6 Miles from Baltimore. It is typical of the early work of the B & O, built strong and solid of Brick and designed to last. The architects name was Baldwin, hence the current name of the restaurant. This depot turned restaurant is still adjacent to the tracks, which run along the South Branch of the Patapsco River. CSX freights still roll by, a thrill while at lunch or dinner!
