This wonderful institute is located in Sondermann Park, a small 110 acre park located on the west central side of Colorado Springs. Coordinates are for the only designated parking for entrance to this park, which is the parking for the institute.

The Beidleman Environmental Center houses the Catamount Institute. It is not a nature center and not a display center, but a center to promote and educate businesses and school children in the aspects of providing sustainable earth friendly endeavors. Good Environmental Stewardship is the responsibility of every individual and should be a constant endeavor for everyone.
Directions:
From southbound I-25:Exit at Fontanero Street (exit #144) and turn right. Turn left at the 4-way stop onto N Chestnut St. Turn right at W Caramillo Street and continue straight until you reach the parking lot at Beidleman Environmental Center.
From the west: Go east on Uintah St. Turn left at Walnut St., then follow the same directions as “from northbound I-25” above.
