45th Parallel North - US Highway 26, Oregon - Great Lines of Earth on Waymarking.com

There's a highway sign on US Highway 26 in Oregon between Mt. Hood Village to the North and Warm Springs to the South. It reads "45th Parallel Halfway between the Equator and North Pole". Two signs, one facing each way on the highway, are mounted on the same wooden sign post. There's a reasonable pull-off for cars on the northbound, east side of the highway for viewing / photographing this sign.

Because on the surrounding mountainous area, my GPSr was reading an approximate accuracy of about 55 feet.
