The Ayer mill's 22 Foot diameter 4-sided clocktower is only a foot smaller than Big Ben and purportedly only second to it in size in the world (among chiming 4-sided clocktowers)

The Ayer Mill is a huge mill from the textile industry that made Lawrence a successful city in the late 19th to early 20th century. As you drive into the Lawrence the domineering clock is immediately visible. As stated above it is on slightly smaller than the famous Big Ben in London.
