This scenic highway is
dedicated to the contributions
of early Norwegian Pioneers
who helped settle Bosque County
since 1852. Cleng Peerson
(1782-1865) is known
internationally as
"The Father of Norwegian
Migration to America"
He helped thousands find
new homes in at least 8
states and praised the
beauty of Bosque Valley.
He is buried at Norse Cemetery,
Our Saviors Lutheran Church
near this highway.
