Built with reuse in mind the speed skating venue remains being called the Richmond Olympic Oval, however today it houses:
• 6, FIBA, FIVB regulation hardwood gymnasiums
• 200m training and 110m spike-proof tracks
• 4,200 m2 (45,000 sq ft) ice sheet for ice hockey (2 rinks), short track speed skating, figure skating and curling
• Composite sport courts
