Tristan returns to Darrowby. Siegfried, James & Helen have left Skeldale House leaving only Tristan there, so Siegfried decides to get Tristan a housekeeper. Siegfried signs up a widow, Mrs Alton, to be housekeeper. Tristan is not best pleased so Siegfried persuades Tristan to go and see Mrs Alton. Unfortunately Tristan meets Mrs Alton’s very attractive daughter in law and agrees for her to be housekeeper. Eventually both Mrs Altons appear at Skeldale House, leaving Siegfried to calm the situation.
