Bridgewater township was started by John Dunn in 1859, the mill is now the town’s focal point for visitors, the towering stone building with the massive water wheel still turns after 130 years.
When it first opened it was filled with workers on weekdays and on Sundays was used as a church using wheat bags as seats.
Today the wheel still turns and operates as a winery (Croser’s Petaluma and restaurant).
Current Status: Still In Use
Current Use: Used for wine tasting and restaurant
