This church, about 2.5 miles WSW of Washburn, MO, and about 2.9 miles by Ozark road, is a Southern Baptist Church.
The church was established in 1920 as an outgrouth of the Rock Springs Church.
It first met in the OK School, just across the road (FR2242) from where it is now.
In 1940 land was donated to the church by Fred Daniels, who had recently been saved at a church service.
The new building was completed in 1941.
Until the mid-2000s the building consisted of the old country church style building with a gable at each end. Then a whole new section was added toward Missouri route 90 as the church grew.
In the later 2000s, those of us who are residents of Ash Township began voting at the church when the polling place was moved from the OK school.
