The history of Saint-Albert Parish goes back to its founding year, 1874.
In the beginning, it was called Saint-Albert-of-Cambridge or simply Cambridge Mission, because of its location in Cambridge Township. This Parish covers the territory in cambridge township, concessions IX & X.
The current building was built in 1881. It celebrated its 125th year of ministering to the Roman Catholic population of Saint-Albert in 1999.
