This Bunglow was built in 1910 by
Jefferson Pooler for his mother,
Adeline Pooler. Jefferson was the builder of at least seven houses in this district, including his own, a few houses away. The house sits on land originally owned by the Watt family but sold to Adeline Pooler in 1909. She was the widow of
Lewis C. Pooler, a pioneer who married Adeline in 1855, three years after the crossed the plains. Mrs. Pooler lived in the house until her death in 1929.
