This two-story Colonial house was built in 1923 to serve as a parsonage (manse) for the First Presbyterian Church. It was originally located at 845 Chemeketa (I think this is the site now occupied by the state government building which houses the Oregon Insurance Division). The building was moved to it's current location in about 1960 to make room for the expansion of the Capitol Mall.
