This lot was purchased by John Redman from Asahel Bush in 1903 and it is believed that he built the house in 1904. Mr. Bush and his wife lived here until selling it in 1906 to Francis H. Newcomb. The house was later purchased in 1925 by Ardee (Art) Wallace and his wife Dora. Mrs. Wallace was a teacher at Englewood School and owned this house until 1983.
