Built in 1908 for George and Florence Laberee, this house features a prominent hipped attic dormer at the center of the front roof face. A full porch wraps around the north and west sides of the house. George Laberee worked as an engineer at the Oregon State Penitentiary and this house is similar to the C.S. Huddleston House, built a year later for penitentiary prison guard Charles Huddleston. The house remained in the Laberee family until 1950.
