This is the third of three sets of decorative gateposts found along the western edges of the Oregon State Hospital campus. This entry is at the intersection of Center and Bluebird streets.

Metal gates used to attach to the stone gate posts but the gates were removed many years ago. Each post includes a metal cap topped by a stone ball.

Unlike the other, similar entry gates, it is still possible to drive a vehicle through the entry, although the sidewalk does not include a curb cut, so a vehicle would have to drive over the curb.
