The Voyage, themed after the pilgrams coming to the new world, is Holiday World's newest roller coaster (opening in 2006) and has been rated as the best wooden coaster in the world at the Golden Ticket Awards from 2007 until 2011 and second best in 2012. It has also won numerous "Favorite" awards from other various roller coaster groups, enthusists, and web sites.
The park planned on releasing a train design to the ride from 2010 until 2012 but they still have not been okayed to use on the ride. Plans are for a 2013 release.
The ride also holds several world records for roller coasters, the most important being "Most Air-Time On A Wooden Coaster" with an amazing 24.3 seconds of air time.
