Kaslo Bay Park is a small park in a very secluded bay, away from any gales that may blow down the length of the lake. Right on the waterfront, its major attraction is the lake itself. The park has no amenities, such as washrooms and sports fields. Instead it is a place to take it easy - sit on a bench and gaze at the water of the mountains beyond, or have a slow, leisurely picnic lunch on the grass or one of the picnic tables available.

Basically, the park is a large grassy area with benches and tables - an area for the dog or the kids to have a run or a dip in the lake. There is a beach of sorts though the grass extends almost to the water.

Every year, on the August long weekend a floating stage is set up just offshore of the park and the annual Kaslo Jazz Etc. Summer Music Festival. During this weekend the population of Kaslo doubles. This year (2013) will see the 22nd annual festival take place on August 2nd - 4th.
