This aircraft was delivered to the Royal Canadian Navy as a CS2F-2 Tracker on June 1, 1960 and given the tail number 1588. It served with 880 Squadron for its entire military career and was onboard the Canadian aircraft carrier HMCS Bonaventure when she visited Portsmouth, UK in October 1968. It was converted to a CS2F-3 sometime prior to 1970, giving it better sensors and electronics. After the Navy was absorbed into the new Canadian Forces in 1968 and HMCS Bonaventure was decommissioned in 1970, the aircraft was redesignated a CP-121 in June 1970 and given the new tail number 12188. It continued to serve with 880 Squadron as a coastal patrol aircraft until it was used as an instructional airframe and later struck off on March 26, 1990. At some unknown later date, it was moved to the Comox Air Force Museum Heritage Air Park.
