This historical district contains seven buildings, including two buildings which are listed separately on the Register. (Majestic Manufacturing Company Buildings and Emerson Electric Company Building).  The buildings in the district were constructed 1889-1928 for manufacturing/commercial purposes. Most of the buildings have been converted or are in the process of being converted into loft apartments and offices
