This 'triangular' shaped Church, on the corner of Lane Cove Road & Dobson Crescent, Ryde, was built in 1961. However, it was originally the Ryde Baptist Church.

At the time that the Ryde Baptist built this triangular shaped church, the Adventist Church was on the other side of Dobson Crescent. But some time in the late 70s there was an 'exchange' of buildings.
On speaking with the Associate Pastor of the Ryde Baptist Church, Ben Rodgers, it may be that the older church used by the Adventists was actually on Baptist owned land; and then they subsequently demolished the older church to build their current Baptist Church and Northcross School.
