Society Cleaners - "Geography Lesson" - Las Vegas, Nevada - Zippy the Pinhead Locations on Waymarking.com

I'm not sure where the original Society Cleaners was located. Several Internet references suggest it was at 620 South 8th Street in Las Vegas, but that appears to be a private home. Regardless, the sign has become the property of the Neon Museum. It has been restored to full brilliance and permanently displayed on a pole in the median strip of Las Vegas Boulevard South near Interstate-515.

This Zippy comic strip features three different neon signs, all in Las Vegas, Nevada. Griffy and his friend Claude Funston have one of their usual off-the-wall conversations. In this pane Griffy says it was futile to try to find common ground with Claude and Claude replies that Griffy should be sent to the Capitol of North Korea - Belgium!
