A long time Navigator Training base. It is currently the site of the Veterans hospital. The flight line is in use as a freight depot for UPS and FedEx.

The golf course is now a county operated public course and there is a new housing development south of the runway. There is also a Regional park.
This base closed about 1993. Most roadways had to be widened to accommodate larger trucks and safety vehicles.
There is also a sports center.
