The date of the 'unveiling' of the Memorial Clock Tower is taken from the Blue Plaque, which is inside the arched door on the south side of the Clock Tower. ["The memorial clock tower was built by John and Norman Icely, David and Mr Butler (Arch.) and unveiled on 29th December 1929 as part of the 'Back to Bright' festivities."]
