Grant park has what used to be an elementary school in it, and outside is a playground that is still there and in use.
The equipment is mostly for the younger child, bucket swings and slides that are only a few feet high. There is one set of swings for older kids, but that's about it.
Almost every playground has one or two features that set it apart, and I liked this little 'bridge' in a stone 'wall'
It looks like it gets played with a lot. Sometimes the simple things are best.
This tire swing, while not unique, is always an interesting touch.
There's a soccer field behind the playground, and it looks like the old school is used for community programs some of the time. All in all it enriches the neighborhood.
