England born Tony Mistlin came to California's Central Valley during World War II and soon became one of the areas most successful car dealers. Today, he and his family are also one of Ripon’s biggest benefactors leaving their mark with everything from fountains to water features to a sports park that is shaping up to be one of the most impressive in the region.

One of the most interesting features at this fountain is the impression of dinosaur bones (Thogh there have never been dinosaurs in California since the area was below sea level during the eintire jurassic period).

This little park behind the fountain adds to the enjoyment.
