Each Country may have a different title for "Ranger Stations".

These are normally places where you can get information from a person or persons for National,State and Local Parks for that location.

Expanded Description:

Waymarks to be placed in this category must have GPS coordinates taken by you and at least 1 image of the Facility and 1 image of the surrounding area.

We will also accept Park Entrances and Visitor Centers.

Please add something to the long description and tell us more about the Park as well!

WIKI RANGER STATION

"A Park Ranger is a person charged with protecting and preserving protected parkland's, forests (then called a Forest Ranger), wilderness areas, as well as other natural resources and protected cultural resources. Some countries use the term "park warden" to describe this occupation."

The Ranger - Warden Station is where the Park Ranger or Warden is located.
This may sometimes be the Visitor Center.

Instructions for Posting a Ranger Stations Waymark:

At least 2 images of yours taken at the location.
1 of the Facility (as default) and 1 of the surrounding area of the Waymark.

All information taken from the internet must be accompanied by a reference to that link.

Acquire the best GPS readings you can as close to the facility as possible.

Instructions for Visiting a Waymark in this Category:

Logs should be accompanied by at least 1 image taken by you at the facility or if you do not have a camera a good description of the Waymark you are visiting.
This will give us proof you were actually there.
