LOCATION:
Find a public location with at least 5 different country flags, 5 different state/provincial flags or a mix of 5 of the two. The more the better.
Outdoor and indoor locations will be accepted. If indoors, it must be open to the public. Please include their business hours in the long description.
The location of the flags should be permanent (as permanent as flags can be).
PICTURES:
You must post at least two pictures of the Flags. One general over-all view and one more detailed view. Please try to get all flags onto one picture. More pictures are always welcome!
We know it could be difficult to get all flags unfurled. But please try your best to get good pictures of the unfurled flags.
If there is an information board, please post one picture of it, as well. A transcription of the information in the long description is recommended.
DETAILS:
Please share some details about the location and the flags. What is the reason the flags are at this location? Do you know when they were placed there?
You are required to list all countries and/or states/provinces represented at the location in your long description.
If the list is large, it is allowed to post a link to an existing list with all countries instead.
LANGUAGE NOTE:
We recognize waymarking as a global hobby and welcome waymarks from all countries. We encourage bilingual and multilingual waymarks and because of our international scope, we acknowledge ENGLISH as our lingua franca. English will facilitate the broadest accessibility globally, therefore all waymarks are required to have an ENGLISH translation in the long and short descriptions.
NAMING CONVENTION:
The name of the waymark MUST follow this format:
Name of Site - City, State, Country
If the site is not within a city or town, then please use another regional designation - whatever best identifies the location of the site.
