Description:: The focus of this Waymarking Game is to encourage people to perform actions and be photographed doing so. The actions should be fun ones that would attract attention from others in a confused or 'rolling of the eyes' kind of way.

Expanded Description:

This is about creating a challenge for other Waymarkers to DO things, and not really about the location. But Visitors will log where they were able to DO the challenge!

This category is NOT about finding things at all, at least not ones that are static. It is about ACTIONS! We want to see you doing crazy fun things. We want to see you doing something specific but with an item that is only at a spot for a brief period of time.

Role Play works great here! So does "Dare ya!"

Some examples might include being photographed:

Being hit in the face with a pie
Riding a unicycle
Arm Wrestling with a Nun in her Habit
Having a bucket of pudding or water dumped on your head
Dressed as a reporter and while holding a microphone interviewing a named politician
Participating in a grape stomping
Stand under a waterfall and use an umbrella
Give a policeman a piggyback ride

Photo Goals that were accepted before 01 JAN 2008 have been Grandfathered.

Suggestions for Photo Goals that should have been created as stand alone Categories will be declined.

Instructions for Posting a Photo Goals Waymark:

All entries in this category should be written as instructions for the photo goal. Consider using the example as a template for your Waymark Listing.

Example #1: "To successfully complete this Photo Goal you need to find a mime in costume and have your picture taken with them. Include the coordinates and tell us about your adventure when you log your visit!"

Example #2: "Take a picture of yourself sitting in the driver's seat of a firetruck wearing a FD helmet. Make sure you have permission from the fire department or similar!"

Since the nature of this category is locationless, please use the coordinates that you were able to accomplish the photo goal that you are proposing for others to attempt. You must provide a sample image of the photo goal you are proposing along with the coordinates that you were able to accomplish the goal, as proof that it can be done. This image must meet the Visit Requirements as stated below. Your Waymark description should be as detailed as possible and the name should reflect the photo goal itself.

Waymarks that use a single specific location are not accepted. It should be possible to complete the Photo Goal in dozens of locations, not just one area.

Example #3: "Take a picture of yourself playing with a toy rocket with the Seattle Space Needle in the background"

Example #3 would not be accepted because it can only be accomplished using the Space Needle. However, if the background item was "a life sized space vehicle" then that would be accepted since there are dozens of these around around the world.

Instructions for Visiting a Waymark in this Category:

You must provide an image of yourself meeting the photo goal and you must also provide the coordinates where you were able to perform the photo goal. Further story about how you were able accomplish the photo goal and any other activities associated with it would be a great thing to include. We’d love to hear about your adventure!
