Description:
Roadside historic markers are our windows to the past. They educate us, they make us curious to investigate, or they provide a nice excuse to take a break and stretch our legs while we read what happened here. This category is for those markers found in the state of Wyoming.
Expanded Description:
Any historic marker located inside the state of Wyoming can be listed in this category.
Instructions for Posting a Wyoming Historical Markers Waymark:

1. The waymark MUST be located in the state of Wyoming.

2. You must provide accurate coordinates.

3. At least a photo of the sign, but preferred would be two photos, one of the sign and one of the area.

4. As of July 1, 2014, the exact text of the marker MUST be provided in the long description. In cases of long text markers a readable photo displayed in the long description will be accepted.

5. In the "long description" field, please include a brief description of the purpose for the marker. What happened here? In addition to the text, to fill out the history in your own words.

6. The text of a marker usually only hints at the depth of the history behind it. Do a web search and link to additional information, if it is available, using the optional field provided.
