Helicopter Landing Pads
 allows ratings
Managed By: Icon Here Helicopter Pilots
Description:
This category is to log permanent locations of helicopter landing pads used for business, emergency or tourism.
Expanded Description:

There are many locations where helicopters are allowed to land, but only designated landing pads may be waymarked for this Category. That is a temporary or emergency landing site (e.g. scene of an accident or other emergency) would not fit within this category.

All areas or pads have to be designated landing/take-off sites. If you can not see the pad you must have some other type of marker or indication that a landing pad is located at a location such as a helicopter landing or taking off, windsock, safety netting, etc. located at or near the landing area.

Satellite imagery will not be accepted as proof of the landing pad (eg. Google Earth Images).
