Expanded Description:
Human migration is the physical movement by humans from one area to another, sometimes over long distances or in large groups. Historically this movement was nomadic, but only a few nomadic people have retained this form of lifestyle in modern times. Migration has continued under the form of both voluntary migration and involuntary migration. People who migrate into a territory are called immigrants, while at the departure point they are called emigrants.

The migration usually occurs due to personal initiative, by seeking better living and working conditions, but there are several other reasons that might lead a citizen to migrate, such as the refugees who leave their countries due to civil conflict or persecution because of race/religion, or because of natural /environmental disaster.

Anyway immigrants often face the same difficulties in settling in a country with different customs and language of their , facing many times, xenophobia, the restrictions imposed on foreigners by the laws, slave labor, or at most underemployment .

This category is to Waymark monuments to Human migration and pay homage to all human beings who for one reason or another had to migrate and face the difficulties associated to build a new home away from home.
