This group is to identify the locations of New Zealand historic places identified by the National Historic Places Trust.

Waymark Instructions:
- Accurate coordinates. Do not use web based maps (or similar programs) since those programs are unreliable and be up to a 1/4 mile off.
- Must be listed with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust. You can do a search here:
http://www.historic.org.nz/Register/Search.asp
- Have a non-copyrighted clear photo of the plaque
- A non-copyrighted photo of the historic area or object. More photos are encouraged.
- Do not include yourself in the default images
- The name used for the way mark must be the name given by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust; no witty names.
- In the log description, give as much information as possible describing the location
To log a visit:
Post a photo of yourself with your GPS next to the designated mark. If you do not have a GPS during your visit, please ensure it is a recent photo and not one from way back when.
