Group managers category that wants to waymark milk platforms, milk stands, churn stands or maitolaiturit as they are called in Finnish. Milk platforms are found in Finland, other Nordic countries, Eastern and Central Europe. We would not be suprised if these are found in other parts of the world also.
Milk platform were part of the chain for milk to go from farm to the dairy in period of 1920 - 1970's when churns were used in milk transportation before the invention of the bulk tank and vacuum collectors.
