description/mission statement:
This group is involved in creating and maintaining waymarks at as many U.S. Civil War sites as possible. Many states have marked these sites with their own markers. This group was set up to include sites that are not part of the Civil War Discovery Trail or have a Historical Marker at the site. There are more than 60 of these sites in Kentucky and more than 20 in Indiana as well as many more through out the south.
