This group is being established to manage a category of Waymarks for Antarctic points of interest, should one be created.
Antarctica is the last truly isolated place in the world. It is a place where the nations of the world have come together to study our planet, its history and future. It's a place where territorial claims have been set aside in order to further science and the human race. Antarctica is also a place that has many stories to tell about what it means to be human and how our species (and many others) can overcome tremendous obstacles.
