This groups mission is to locate, and record those monuments and memorials dedicated to the brave men and woman who served in the war campaigns of Afgahanistan and Iraq. Though there are few at present, The American spirit will rise and honor these wonderful veterans in the years to come. Americans sometimes disagree on the merits of waging war, but we never disagree on the merits of character in those who serve, fight and die at the call of their country. To create for these men and women, a distictive waymark category recording these memorials is to honor them.
