Purpose of this category is to record waymarks that have a historic significance to Florida. They may not have a historic marker or fall in one of the other categories but nevertheless should be recorded as a historical location. Examples include but not limited to sites where a grand hotel from the gilded age once stood, or a eatery where astronauts hung out, or a place where President once visited etc.
The spirit of this category is for historic preservation and the sharing of history to
future generations.
New submissions should include a contemporary picture and a historic picture of what it once
looked like. A "Now and Then" photo or graphic
representation is preferred.
Instructions:
