An arboretum is a botanical garden primarily devoted to the cultivation of trees and other woody plants, often rare ones, forming a living collection intended for scientific study, educational, and ornamental purposes.
The intention of this group is to collect the names, coordinates and addresses of official arboretums around the world, so that others can enjoy the beauty, serenity and unique character of an arboretum.
(The Botanical Gardens group specifically states "no arboretums" so since arboretums are not incorporated into the Botanical Gardens group, I'm proposing this Arboretum group.)
