Based on the hit Fox animated series The Simpsons, who live in Springfield USA, the goal of this category is to Waymark all of the Towns, Cities, Villages, Hamlets, etc., named SPRINGFIELD from every corner of the world.
The requirements are that the official legal name of the township proper is "Springfield", post the geographical center coordinates of the town (or as near as physically possible), take a photo of a "Welcome to Springfield" sign or similar identifying site, and then briefly describe things in that Springfield that make it special. Any additional highlight information must concern properties that are within the legal limits of the given Springfield.
(Extra points if your Springfield has a bar called Moe's or a neighbor named Flanders...)
