Carnivorous plants have their own unique beauty. They have evolved a variety of methods to capture prey in order to obtain nutrients they need. Internationally recognized organizations such as the International Carnivorous Plant Society (http://www.carnivorousplants.org/) to preserve, cultivate, and study these plants. Native species can be found throughout the world from the tropics to sub-artic. This group will promote the safe viewing of these amazing plants in specialized nurseries, cultivation, and the wild. Collection will be vigorously discouraged.
