description/mission statement:
This groups mission is to provide access to the myriad of abstract public sculptures that often people never hear about by managing a "Public Sculpture" category. Many cities dedicate a portion of taxes to adding art to their communities and this groups goal is to promote the viewing of that free, public art. The abstract sculptures may not be representational memorials (such as a statue of George Washington) as these belong in the statue category. Although representational sculpture is allowed, nothing that would fit in the "Statue" category would be permitted.
