From the whatpub website:-
"An outstanding black and white half-timbered hotel and bar dating back to the 1590s - with direct links to the Civil War. Various comfortably-furnished seating areas, with discreet nooks and corners, surround a central bar-servery facing a splendid fireplace. The restaurant, with its superb wood-panelling, offers affordable fine cuisine using locally-sourced ingredients, while conventional bar snacks are also available in the bar. Guest beers include those from Wadworths seasonal range or Red Shoot subsidiary."
From the hotel's website:-
"The Talbot has been welcoming guests for over 400 hundred years to the town of Ledbury in Herefordshire. With its black and white timbered facade, joining four buildings together, the oldest part dating back to around 1550, the hotel has many original features and old-world charm and character."
